Bright, layered, and full of character—this Guatemala comes alive at medium roast.

Dried cherry, praline, and brown sugar bring a warm, caramelized sweetness, while honey rounds the body into something soft and creamy. It's a cup with depth—approachable up front, with a lingering richness that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Balanced and dependable, this is a coffee that shines as espresso, performs beautifully in batch brew, or anchors a blend with quiet confidence.

Sourced from ASOPCE (Association of Specialty Coffee Producers of Huehuetenango), this coffee represents the work of roughly 450 smallholder producers farming small plots—averaging 1.5 hectares—across the remote mountain communities of Huehuetenango and neighboring San Marcos. Founded in 2015, the association was built to unify local growers and connect their coffee to international markets at fair prices.

Each producer family manages their own wet milling and patio drying to meet ASOPCE's quality standards, with parchment stored at the association's central bodega before export. ASOPCE also provides technical assistance, commercialization support, and access to credit—helping members improve crop performance and build long-term livelihoods. Women make up roughly 30% of ASOPCE's membership, many managing or owning their own production units. This lot is organically grown by certified organic producers at origin.

Small farms, careful processing, real impact—this is a cup worth savoring.
